Personal Integrations
Personal integrations connect your own tools to Harmony. They are installed by you and use your account with the external provider.
How to access personal integrations
Personal integrations are managed from Marketplace:
- Open a workspace in Harmony.
- Click Marketplace in the sidebar.
- Use the Apps tab to connect new apps or Installed to manage active ones.
Older docs may refer to User preferences > Integrations. That preferences tab has moved; use Marketplace instead.
What personal integrations can do
Personal integrations can give Companion and Harmony access to:
- Your calendar events, so Harmony can show upcoming meetings and send the Companion Bot from calendar events.
- Your email, so Companion can draft or send messages when you approve the action.
- Your task tools, so action items can become tasks or issues.
- Your documents, notes, contacts, or other productivity data.
- Provider-specific tools that Companion can call during a thread.
Examples of personal integrations
Available personal apps include tools such as Google Calendar, Gmail, Google Drive, Google Contacts, Google Tasks, Linear, Notion, Todoist, GitHub, Slack, Asana, Atlassian, Plane, PandaDoc, Cursor, and other provider-specific apps.
Availability can vary by workspace configuration and provider status. Some catalog apps may expose only limited functionality until a full sync implementation is available.
Each integration unlocks different features. Some feed data into Companion so it can answer questions about your tools. Others enable Harmony to create tasks, send emails, or schedule events based on your meeting action items.
Connecting Google Calendar
Google Calendar is one of the most popular personal integrations - and connecting it to Harmony is quick and straightforward.
To get started, simply head over to Marketplace > Apps, and look for the Google Calendar. Click Connect. Before moving forward, you’ll have a chance to see exactly what Companion will be able to do with your calendar—such as creating new events for you, reading your existing events, or making updates to your schedule when needed. This transparency lets you know exactly what to expect.
After you’ve reviewed these details, continue by selecting Connect Google Calendar. You’ll be prompted to sign in with your Google account, and then just authorize access so Harmony can sync with your calendar securely.
Once connected, you will see your calendars listed, remember to pick the ones you want to synchronize. Once synced, you are all set. You will see your upcoming events in the Meetings start view. If auto-join is enabled for your workspace, synced events with supported meeting links can also be evaluated for automatic bot scheduling.
Connecting task and productivity tools
For task tools like Linear, Google Tasks, Todoist, Asana, Plane, GitHub, or Atlassian, connect the app from Marketplace and follow the provider-specific flow. Some apps use OAuth, while others require an API key or workspace identifier.
After connection, Companion can use the tools that the provider exposes. For actions that change external data, Companion generally asks for confirmation before proceeding.
Managing or removing a personal integration
Open Marketplace > Installed, select the app, and use the available management actions. Depending on the provider, you may be able to test the connection, reconnect, update credentials, or delete the integration.
