Deleting Your Account

Deleting your Harmony account is a destructive account action. Read the warnings carefully and export anything you need before continuing.

Where to find account deletion

The account deletion page is under Workspace Settings > Danger Zone > Delete Account.

The route is:

/workspace/{workspaceSlug}/settings/delete

What deletion does

The self-delete flow deactivates your account and removes your active workspace memberships.

When deletion succeeds:

  • Your account is deactivated.
  • Your active organization memberships are removed.
  • Existing authentication tokens are cleared.
  • You are redirected to the sign-in page.

Workspace-owned content, such as shared meetings or records that belong to an organization, follows that workspace’s retention and ownership rules. Billing records and audit records may also be retained where legally or operationally required.

Sole-admin protection

Harmony blocks account deletion if you are the only active admin in any workspace you belong to.

Before deleting your account, make sure every workspace has another active admin. If you are the sole admin, promote another member first and then retry deletion.

How to delete your account

  1. Go to Workspace Settings > Danger Zone > Delete Account.
  2. Read the warning box.
  3. Type DELETE in the confirmation field.
  4. Click Permanently Delete Account.

The button only becomes active after you type the exact word DELETE.

If deletion fails, your account remains active. Try again or contact support.

Before you continue

  • Confirm another admin exists in each workspace.
  • Export any data you need to keep.
  • Rotate or revoke credentials tied to your user if required by your internal policy.
  • Resolve any billing or ownership questions before deleting the account.

Subscription and billing

Deleting an account is not the same as canceling a subscription or deleting a workspace.

Current self-serve cancellation is not exposed as a completed button in the app. If you want to stop paying but keep the account or workspace, contact support to cancel or change the subscription instead of deleting your account.

GDPR and data rights

Account deletion is one way to remove your account access and active memberships. GDPR or other privacy requests may require separate handling depending on what data is workspace-owned, legally retained, or covered by contractual obligations.

For formal data deletion or privacy requests, contact Harmony through the appropriate privacy or support channel.

Account deletion cannot be undone from the app. Export any data you want to keep before proceeding.
